（ with their grace period drawing to a close, sasuke has spent most of his time out of the hotel. canvassing the streets, talking to people. threatening a few — or using genjutsu when and where he needs to.

his efforts build up a small, but usable network of individuals, and it's one of these people that tips him off about the mission being offered by the guilds for the diamond theft.

so, this is him just climbing in through the window to naruto's hotel room — naruto's been loathe to leave him alone, but sasuke hasn't exactly welcomed his company, either. especially after that stupid finger trap and naruto's incessant begging to go on a date. he's as bad as sakura, ino and all the rest of the girls he left behind.

(he could do the mission alone. he knows that. but having a team... isn't the worst.)
