He really doesn't like any of this, but Donnie is also right. They have the shards now, they can't just go back to the Society and lie. Holding onto these things is too dangerous, and if Mechanima was to find out what they did it would be even more dangerous for them.

He clicks his tongue and nods slowly, trying to sort out just how badly this could go. "If you need to, use how they reacted to me. That's technically still accurate data, so he shouldn't catch onto anything suspicious."

At the very least, it will mean keeping a target off of Donnie's back. That's what they need to prioritize right now.
