[Well, seeing as the guy wasn't confirming suffering, Mark smiled and nodded.]

Did you manage to keep the other children from harm?

Oh yeah. Me and a friend of mine, the one who saved me from the deserts in Arizona, we spent DAYS running around dealing with stuff. I actually joined the guild just so I could help people.

[Well, that... doesn't spark enthusiasm.]

I... I guess I couldn't just keep standing around and not helping people. I've made that mistake before, and people got hurt.

...I suppose it might give you some insight into the guilds. Use their resources, but be cautious.

That much I don't know. And it's definitely not a good time to test it. At all. It's a bit scary to even consider.

No. I wouldn't recommend doing anything to make a target of yourself.

Not unless there's someone else around. I mean, I've found out that apparently my touch can also make people feel rested even if they aren't, but that's not going to protect me.
