He hadn't thought it would be so simple. If it were then he wouldn't still be struggling like this. Donnie sighs, closing his eyes as he drops his head back into his arms.

Everything is so backwards to him. He'd lost Leo but got him back, but it hadn't erased what had happened. Accelerator's right. Nothing is magically negated when things still happened as they did. It just sucks that he has to deal with it even when he's just glad he isn't alone and Leo's still here after everything.
